A new survey taken by the California Farm Bureau Federation shows a farm worker shortage throughout the state.

The survey shows that more than half of those who responded to the survey suffered an employee shortage.

This figure was higher among farmers who need to hire employees on a seasonal basis. Seven out of 10 of those who responded said they had a shortage amongst seasonal workers.

The survey results are similar to a CFBF survey from 2012.

Officials within the farm bureau say despite all of their efforts, they just can't find enough qualified willing employees.
