CHP officials received reports at around 9:26AM Sunday of a car fire on NB I-5 just north of Grapevine.
According to CHP's traffic website, A semi truck that had a tralier was on the right hand shoulder on NB I-5 and it was on fire. They added that the smoke was coming from one of the tires.
Officials closed two lanes as a result.
Officials put down the fire and the lanes were reopen after 10:30 AM.
