UPDATE (08/28): Jury selection is scheduled to begin in the Sabrina Limon trial today, August 28, 2018.

Last week the judge in the trial said they would move forward with jury selection here in Kern County, unless it was clear the jury pool here was tainted by news coverage of the case.

UPDATE (08/22): The judge in the People v. Limon case decided today to defer on a change of venue decision until potential jurors are questioned on whether or not they've heard about the case before. 

If it's determined the pool of jurors is "poisoned" by media coverage, then change of venue will be considered. 

The jury selection will start next week at its earliest.

A change of motion hearing is set to take place Monday morning in the case of a woman accused of killing her husband. 

Sabrina Limon, along with her lover, Jonathan Hearn, are accused of killing Limon's husband Robert. 

Sabrina Limon faces murder, attempted murder and conspiracy charges. 

On Tuesday, a judge will hear a motion for change of venue. 

In August of 2014, Robert Limon's body was found at a BNSF railway building shot to death.
