Bakersfield Commons moves forward after city council approves construction
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - City Council approved to move forward with the Bakersfield Commons plans they were presented Wednesday.
The proposed plan is said to bring just under 8,000 construction related jobs to Bakersfield as well as more than 2,000 other jobs to the many businesses in the center once it is officially open.
