Dignity Health Mercy and Memorial Hospitals will be holding their annual "Back 2 School" event on Sunday.

Children between the grades of K through 12th, along with their families are invited to enjoy the festivities. Complimentary hair cuts, free school supplies and backpacks are included in today's event, while supplies last. All supplies and backpacks are handed out on a first come first serve basis.

The event starts at 9 a.m. and goes until 12 p.m. at Mercy Memorial Hospital Learning Center located at 1627 Virginia Avenue.

The Dignity Health Learning and Community Outreach Centers have been providing back to school supplies for the last 20 years. They are able to do this thanks to donations from Mercy Memorial Hospital employees.
