Evacuation centers for those affected by the Cedar Fire

The following locations are currently serving as evacuation centers for anyone affected by the Cedar Fire. Evacuated areas can be viewed here.

Granite Hills High School, 1701 E. Putnam Ave. Porterville. This shelter is capable of hosting comfort animals like cats and dogs. For large animals and livestock, contact Terry Way's Ranch and Equine Rescue at 918-541-3572.

First Baptist Church of Lake Isabella 3701 Suhre St., Lake Isabella.

UPDATE opened August 21: South Fork Elementary School 6401 Fay Ranch Rd, Weldon

EVACUATED on August 21: St. Jude's Catholic Church, 86 Nellie Dent Dr., Wofford Heights.

Glennville Rodeo Grounds- Greenhorn Mountain Veterans Association, 196 Pascoe Rd., Glennville.This shelter is welcoming anyone, but mostly those who live in affected Tulare County communities like Posey, Sugar Loaf, Panorama Heights and others who are unable to get to Wofford Heights due to road closures. The U.S. Forest Service was bringing in equipment to help with setup on Saturday morning. For updated information on this shelter, click here.
