UPDATE (6:25 p.m.): The grass fire that started after the median caught on fire on the I-5 at the Grapevine has been put out and traffic is moving well, according to CHP.
CHP said the call of a fire came in around 4:45 p.m. Crews were able to put out the fire just before 6 p.m. but not until after it burned 10.5 acres. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is still unknown.

A fire started on southbound Interstate 5 at Grapevine Road around 5 p.m., according to Fort Tejon CHP.
The fire is in the center divider and is blocking both the north and southbound left lanes, CHP said.
This is the second fire on the I-5 at Grapevine this afternoon.
