Foothill High School was put on lockdown Thursday afternoon around 1:50 p.m. by KCSO for police activity in the area, Kern High School District confirmed.

Deputies were looking for a Hispanic male in his 20's possibly with a gun near Pioneer and Voorhies Elementary.

The lockdown was lifted at 2:16 p.m.
