Four people were arrested on Wednesday for several felony charges, including auto theft.
This after the Kern County Auto Theft Task force teamed up with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation's Fugitive Apprehension Team conducted a joint sweep targeting auto theft.
This sweep encompassed both the Bakersfield metro area and Oildale.
During the operation, four were arrested, including 32-year-old Jeffrey Allen Clough and 31-year-old Charles D. Raye, 24-year-old David McKiearnan, who were found on Willow Drive at May Street, near Riverview Park in Oildale.
The fourth suspect, 31-year-old Michael Wyatt, was arrested on N. Chester Avenue at Roberts Lane.
Officials said more joint agency details are planned in the near future to decrease the rate of vehicle thefts within Kern County.
