The Bakersfield College swim team is offering free swimming lessons today. 

The focus on the event is on water safety. 

The event is free to the public and the lessons will be running on a continuous 20 minute cycle, if the event gets crowded priority will be given to younger ages. 

Children must be potty trained and parents must be there to watch the children. 

During the swimming lessons the Bakersfield College Swimming team will be taking part in a 6 hour relay. 

The 6 hour relay will showcase each athlete swimming a portion of the time, so feel free to stick around after the lesson and watch your BC Swimming team complete the relay.
