Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Colby O'Donis and his family have found their dog, Apple.

Apple was found trapped in an abandoned house. A cleaning crew tidied the house up before a showing and when the real estate agent went to show it, Apple jetted out and ran home.

O'Donis and his family are overjoyed.

"I'm literally the happiest man alive today," O'Donis exclaimed.

The dog was last seen at his father-in-law's home in East Bakersfield, where it was staying to take care of him as he recovers from a recent heart surgery.

O'Donis says that the dog was very much a family pet. He says that everyone loved her and it returned that love with even more of its own.

The last time that the dog was seen was Saturday morning. When the father-in-law, Pedro Hernandez, was sitting outside with Apple on his front yard bench. When Hernandez went inside to answer the phone that was ringing and returned outside, she was gone.

The family believes that between that time, someone may have attracted the dog to come toward them and then take her.

Since Apple was taken, the family has released posters with pictures that inform people of who to call if found.

They are hopeful that if someone did take her, they will return her to them. There is a reward that they are offering and they say that they will not ask any questions to whoever turns Apple in.

If you have any information about this dog, the family asks that you contact these numbers listed below.
