It's a one-stop shop for local veterans looking for any kind of help or services or even something as simple as a haircut. 

On Thursday, local veterans are invited to take visit Stramler Park for the annual Veterans Stand Down event. 

The event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

According to organizers, the event will provide veterans, their families and even their pets, "haircuts, basic medical exams and flu shots, vision exams, linkage to veterans benefits, and veterans court, which helps veterans remove certain legal barriers from their record that could keep them from obtaining housing, gainful employment and credit."
