Hoffmann Hospice offering grief support group in wake of Vegas shooting

Hoffmann Hospice Home is offering a support group session in wake of the Las Vegas shooting.

Author of several books on grief, trauma and crisis counseling H. Norman Wright, MFCC will be leading the conversation scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

“The mass shooting in Las Vegas has affected so many of us right here at home in Kern County. We at Hoffmann Hospice, want you to know that you are not alone and we are here to help,” Beth Hoffmann, Co-Founder and Director of Operations at Hoffmann Hospice said.

The grief support group will have information on the stages of grief, survivor's guilt and post-traumatic stress disorder. The event will be free and open to the public at 4401 Buena Vista Rd.
