Junior high students are volunteering at the Green Lawn Cemetary.

They aren't volunteering to raise money for a basketball team or a debate team - they're trying to raise money for veterans.

The students are selling flags to help veterans go on honor flights to Washington, D.C. Honor flights allow veterans to see the capital and visit monuments as well as meet local lawmakers.

Honor Flight is a non-profit organization created to honor veterans and send them to Washington D.C.
