KCSO has issued a search warrant to obtain DNA from the two suspects arrested for the attempted robbery of a Lamont market.

Mario Zuniga and Yordan Solis Flores entered the School Street Market with handguns on February 20. The store clerk, Abdulnasser Saef, told deputies he saw Zuniga and Flores pull out handguns as they entered the store.

The two suspects were dropped off at Kern Medical a short time later by a vehicle. Both were suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Flores claimed he was in the store but did not shoot

The spent shell casings were collected and swabbed for DNA and blood evidence was left behind by the suspects.
