KCSO investigating shooting in South Bakersfield, one man injured

UPDATE (March 6th, 2017 10:45 a.m.): The Sheriff's Department said a man was sitting in his driveway when an unknown male pulled up behind him and fired shots into the vehicle. The suspect drove off. There are no suspect descriptions at this time.

The Kern County Sheriffs Department is investigating a shooting in South Bakersfield tonight. 
 
Officials say the shooting happened on Sperry Street near Don and Garber Way. 
 
A 21-year-old man was shot while in the back of his truck. The man suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Kern Medical.
