The Kern County Department of Public Health released their 2015 Child Death Review Team report Monday.

For the 2015 year, there were a total of 51 child deaths in the county. Twenty were accidental, 2 were homicide, 5 were natural, 4 were suicide, and 20 were labeled as undetermined.

Of the accidental injuries, 55% were motor vehicle related accidents.
