Kern County Public Health alerting to protect against Hepatitis A

California Governor Brown has declared a state of emergency Friday due of the state’s hepatitis A outbreak that has killed at least 18 people.

23ABC reached out to Kern Public Health confirming that there have been no Hep A cases in Kern County.

Public health is speaking to health inspectors who will be providing education to every restaurant as they do inspections and we are providing support to homeless center.
