Bakersfield's own Korn could be adding some hardware to its trophy room.
On Tuesday, when Grammy nominations were announced the band was nominated for Best Metal Performance for "Rotting in Vain".
This is the band's eighth Grammy nomination, having previously won two.
Also nominated in the Best Metal Performance are "Shock Me" by Baroness, "Silvera" by Gojira, "Dystopia" by Megadeth and "The Price is Wrong" by Periphery.
