23ABC talked to the Moneywise Guys Wednesday about the effect of the presidential announcement on the financial market and why it was so volatile last night.

On Tuesday night during the election, the Dow dropped 750 points in the futures market. But it has since rebounded, finishing up more than 250 points Wednesday.

The Nasdaq was also up almost 60 points Wednesday and the S&P showed growth.

The Moneywise guys said the biggest factor for traders was uncertainty. Trump’s unexpected lead and win left the market tumbling.

According to experts, the increase in the markets Wednesday were due in part to Trump’s victory speech, which raised hopes he will focus on policies that can help the economy and not some of his other campaign positions.
