On Thursday morning, Independence High School sent 56 students to Lakeside School for the day to teach the young children of Lakeside energy and science.

This was all hands-on learning with some elementary students learning how to build a solar-powered car.  

Independence High School has been traveling down to Lakeside for about 4 years now. Each year the elementary school children love having teachers closer to their age because they understand the material better.
