Kern County lawmakers are gathering Thursday morning in an effort to push for the passage of a transportation bill.
County supervisor Leticia Perez, Arvin Mayor Jose Gurrola and Wasco City Councilmember Alex Garcia are gathering with labor and transportation advocates at Challenger Park in Southwest Bakersfield.
The group is calling for the passage of a bill to help fix roads throughout the state, including Kern County.
