Both Republicans and Democrats in Bakersfield held watch parties for Wednesday night’s debates.

The GOP watch party was hosted by Kern County Young Republicans at Rusty’s Pizza Parlor on Rosedale Highway.

The Democrats came together downtown in the sculpture garden next to the party’s headquarters to watch the face-off between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
