Many Bakersfield restaurants and bars are having specials on food and drinks for the World Series.

Tomorrow is the first game of the World Series and the Los Angeles Dodgers are hosting the Houston Astros. The Dodgers haven’t been to the World Series since 1988.

"I think the fact that LA is so close to here you know there is a huge fan base, you can see everyone in Bakersfield has the flags on the truck, everyone supporting the blue it’s kind of neat. It’s almost like the Dodgers are a part of Bakersfield," said Alejandro Ocampo, owner of Camino Real Kitchen & Tequila.

"We expect it to be pretty packed here. We have the big screen on, all of our TV’s playing the Dodgers game," said Niko Katsantonis, manager at Goose Loonies

-Camino Real will be celebrating the game by selling street hot dogs, similar to the ones that are sold outside of Dodgers games, and blue drinks.

-Goose Loonies, is selling blue beer throughout the entire series.

-Buffalo Wild Wings will be auctioning off a $100 raffle basket during the game and all the proceeds will go to the boys and girls club. They will also have half priced wings on Tuesday.

-Red Zone Sports Bar & Grill will be giving away prizes during the game and will have shot specials when the Dodgers score.

-Bootleggers Craft Pub & Eatery will have $4.50 Dodger Dogs and if you wear Dodgers or Astros gear, you will get $3.50 pours and a free small order of Dirty Chips.

-Temblor Brewing Company will have buy-one-get-one-free appetizers and happy hour beer.

-1933 will be showing the game on their jumbo screen and have happy hour prices last throughout the game.
