One person has major injuries and two others have minor injuries after a multiple-motorcycle crash occurred in Northwest Bakersfield on Friday night.
Bakersfield Police officials said at around at 9:40 pm, they responded to the 4300 block of Coffee Road for a motorcycle versus motorcycle accident.
The investigation revealed that both motorcycles were traveling southbound on Coffee Road.
One of the motorcycles’ struck the rear of the second motorcycle causing both occupants of the second motorcycle, an adult male and adult female to be ejected from the motorcycle.
BPD said both sustained minor injuries.
The first motorcycle was occupied by an adult male driver who was transported to a local area hospital with major injuries.
Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this accident.
