Kern County Sheriff's Department deputies have arrested 22-year-old Ethan Wiley in connection with the 2013 death of 53-year-old Terrence Tsitakis.
On September 20, 2013, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office began investigating a homicide which occurred at a residence in the 3900 block of Bianchi Way, in south Bakersfield.
The victim, Tsitakis, was strangled to death in the residence.
Homicide detectives began their investigation and have conducted a thorough and comprehensive investigation over the last two years.
During the investigation, Ethan Wiley (22 years old) was identified as a suspect. Detectives were able to develop probable cause to arrest Wiley for the murder of Tsitakis and obtained an arrest warrant for him on January 15, 2016.
Wiley was in-custody at the Lerdo jail facility on unrelated charges and has now been charged with murder and robbery.
He is currently in-custody with no bail.
