California City Police are investigating after a man was stabbed and taken to the hospital on Sunday.

Police say the man was stabbed about 15 to 20 minutes away from Galileo Hill, in the northeast portion of the California City limits. He was taken to a hospital with major injuries, but is said to be in stable condition.

Another man was also injured, but he was not taken to the hospital. Police believe it may have been part of a fight.

The investigation is ongoing.
