The man involved in the human trafficking of three adults and a minor was sentenced Thursday to three years on probation.
Carl Lewis served 465 days in prison.
Lewis was booked into the Kern County Jail for human trafficking of an adult and human trafficking of a minor. The three females were released without charges.
The minor was transported to the Jamison Center where she was released into their custody.
Bakersfield Police said that during the interviews, juvenile and two of the females revealed they were prostitutes, and Lewis was acting as their “pimp”.
