Bakersfield Fire responded to reports of a victim stranded on vegetation in the Kern River Wednesday evening off Lake Ming Road.
Officials found a male victim stranded on vegetation in the river’s fast-moving currents west of the Lake Ming campground.
The victim was uninjured. No firefighter injuries were reported.
