A man was sentenced to 14 years in prison for a deadly DUI crash that took his wife's life in January.

CHP officials reported that around 2:03 A.M. they received a call that a vehicle had crashed into a pole on Famoso-Porterville Hwy at Cecil Avenue in Delano on Sunday Jan. 15.

The driver, identified as Jose Alfredo Garcia, was driving a 1992 Lexus that ran off the roadway and struck a large pole. He was later found to have been under the influence of a drug and was arrested.
