Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a suspect this morning, after a man was shot and killed in Northeast Bakersfield.

The shooting happened just after 11:00 p.m. on the corner of Miller and Bernard streets.

Deputies arrived and found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was then transported to Kern Medical where he later died from his injuries.

The investigation has been turned over to homicide detectives.
