During the Kern County Fair, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Bakersfield Police Department VICE Unit, and the State of California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control conducted several undercover operations.
The undercover operations focused on reducing the amount of underage drinking incidents, which often lead to serious vehicle crashes and subsequent major injuries and/or deaths. As result of the operations, several people were contacted and issued citations for alcohol related offenses.
All of the adult violators were issued citations and released at the fairgrounds. All on the juveniles violators were issued citations and released to the custody of a parent or guardian.
September 28:
Chelsea Emily Grijalva, 20, of Bakersfield was issued a citation for minor in possession of alcohol.
September 29:
An employee of Golden West Concessions, Julia Ann Garcia, 42, of Bakersfield and an employee of McCafferty Food & Beverage Concessions, Deanna Lynn Pettit, 52, of Bakersfield were issued citations for selling or furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Matthew George Zobel, 19, of Bakersfield and Brittany Nicole Espinoza, 19, of Bakersfield were issued citations for minor in possession of alcohol.
Christian Emilio Aguirre, 31, of Bakersfield and an employee of the Bakersfield Host Lions Club, Jose Manuel Rodriguez, 67, of Delano were cited for selling or furnishing alcohol to a minor.
September 30:
Jose Guillermo Lopez Medrano, 22, of Lamont was issued a citation for selling or furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Annie Renee Dunn, 20, of Bakersfield, Esmeralde Alanis Vega, age 19 and a 17-year-old juvenile were issued citations for minor in possession of alcohol.
October 1:
Mikaela Catherine Broom, 19, of Atascadero, Kayla Danielle Uimari, 19, of San Luis Obispo, Alexis Sabrina Alejandre, 18, of Bakersfield, Calfred Lee Moore Jr., 20, of Bakersfield, Morgan Nicole Marshall, 18, of Bakersfield, Rodolfo Junior Garcia III, 20, of Bakersfield, Jessica Oceguerra Torres, 19, of Littlerock, Calif. and one 16-year-old and two 17-year-old juveniles were issued citations for minor in possession of alcohol.
Parker Ford Heasley, 18, of Bakersfield, Brock David Butler, 19, of Bakersfield and Christoper Ryan Weber, 19, of Bakersfield were issued citations for minor in possession of alcohol.
