Nearly 3,000 Pacific Gas and Electric customers are without power in northeast Bakersfield.
The outages, which have shut down traffic lights at the intersection of Haley St. and Heights St., also temporarily shut down power at Foodsco on Haley St.
The cause of the outages is unknown at this time and PG&E is currently investigating.
PG&E expects power to be restored at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
