Cars have armor, but people don't. Pedestrian safety is a two-way street and drivers must work together to demonstrate safe behaviors on the road.

That's the message behind the California Office of Traffic Safety's pedestrian and driver safety education and awareness campaign: "Pedestrians Don't Have Armor".

The program is in place to keep drivers aware and alert for pedestrians while driving.
