Deputies identify, search for suspect in connection with Lamont homicide

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Myron Givan, 34, for his possible involvement with a homicide in Lamont on October 14 at the Quality Gas Station.

Police obtained an arrest warrant for Givan, who is a criminal street gang member.

Givan may be driving a 1986 turquoise Chevy Monte Carlo with the license 6GSS047 and 20” chrome wheels, according to the release.

He is described as a black male around 5’ 10” and 230 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
