On Friday the Ridgecrest Police Department posted on Facebook that the Ridgecrest City Council will honor Burroughs High School football team with proclamation and a donation. 

The high school football team will be honored on Wednesday November 1 at 6PM. 

The Ridgecrest City Council is contributing 15,000 dollars to the team that came from different community members who donated after seeing the football team carry American flags to the field during the Homecoming game.
