Through their efforts, Habitat for Humanity Golden Empire has supported hundreds of hard working Kern County families for over 25 years, helping them to build and buy their own homes.

Habitat’s second home improvement retail outlet, ReStore, will celebrate its Grand Opening on Friday, October 7th, at 9:00 a.m. at 5101 White Lane.

The ReStores sell new and gently used construction supplies and home décor. It provides community members a tax-deductible opportunity to donate their un-used home improvement items.  ReStore gladly receives and sells furniture, appliances, tools, building materials and more to the public for a fraction of the retail price.

“The new ReStore looks great!  A big thank you to everyone involved. We are very excited” said Tony Miranda, Executive Director.

The store is open for shopping and donations year-round, Monday through Saturday, 9:oo a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
