In the first crash there were three vehicles involved which resulted in one person being taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

One of those vehicles involved was stopped in lane #2 when a big rig lost control trying to avoid it, lost control and hit another vehicle which then pushed that vehicle into others and caused a chain reaction.

In total, there were seven cars involved in the incident.

One person involved in the second crash was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

There is no time estimate as to when the remaining closed lanes of the northbound 99 will re open.
