On the first day of the fair, September 21, 2016, detectives from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office conducted an undercover operation at the Kern County Fair.

As a result of the operation, several people were contacted and ultimately seven people were cited and released. 

The persons cited were:

Nolberto Alvares-Mendez, 21, of Bakersfield, was cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Luz Irene Leon, 20, of Bakersfield, was cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor and minor in possession of alcohol.

Alejandro Bravo-Encisco, 18, of Bakersfield, Evelyn Camacho, 18, of Bakersfield, Jacob Coook, 18, of Bakersfield, Kylie Shyanne Rangel, 19, of Bakersfield, and Briannon Nickole Scott, 20, of Bakersfield, were all cited for minor in possession of alcohol.

All of the subjects were released at the scene.
