Shafter police are looking for a man that hit and killed a woman with a vehicle on Sunday in her own driveway.

When police showed up, they found the victim and she was taken to Kern Medical where she was pronounced dead.

The victim was identified as 45-year-old Guadalupe Govea, according to KCSO. The family said it was her boyfriend who hit and killed her with her own red SUV.

Her daughter said she was in an abusive relationship with the man, who allegedly used drugs. Guadalupe leaves behind seven children ages eight to 24.

The Shafter Police Department is attempting to confirm the identity of the suspected driver of the vehicle.

Her family set up a Go Fund Me account to help raise money for her funeral expenses and for the children she left behind. To donate, click here: https://www.gofundme.com/2jvp684
