UPDATE (Aug. 19th 7:11a.m.): Bakersfield Police said around 2:54a.m. Saturday officers responded to the 2100 block of Chester Avenue for reports of a shooting.
When officers got on scene they found three people gunshot victims.
Officials said the suspect is described as a Hispanic man who took off in a dark sedan.
All three victims were taken to an area hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Bakersfield police are on scene of a shooting in downtown Bakersfield.
It happened before 3:00 a.m. at Nuvo Club and Lounge on Chester Avenue.
Officers say three people were shot. BPD says two people suffered moderate injuries, and the other person suffered moderate to major injuries.
The northbound and southbound lanes on Chester Avenue are currently shut down while officers investigate.
