Bakersfield police need your help finding two suspects involved in a shooting Wednesday night.

No one was injured but things could have been a lot worse adding to the string of shootings that have happened already this year.

Bakersfield police responded to the 200 block of Irene Street at 9:45 Wednesday night regarding shots fired at a vehicle.

None of the three people inside that vehicle were injured but a single bullet did strike the rear window.

KCSO later found the suspects involved in that shooting, four in total.

Two of those suspects, 18-year-old Jose Viera and 18-year-old Vincent Carrera were arrested, while the other two suspects fled the scene.

Those two suspects are described as Hispanic, one male and one female, both in their 20’s, last seen on the 600 block of Fairfax road.

Viera and Carrera were arrested for gang participation, conspiracy, and three counts of assault with a deadly weapon.

Anyone with any information in this shooting is encouraged to call police.
