Police are searching for a robbery suspect who walked into a South Bakersfield Valero gas station and demanded currency on August 10.

At around 5:30 a.m. the suspect walked in to the store at 2500 Wible Road, made a small purchase, pulled out a black revolver style handgun and demanded currency. He fled southbound on foot.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s, 5’9”, and 165 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball cap with “CALI” in white on the front, a navy blue shirt, blue jeans and white athletic shoes.
