The California Highway Patrol and Kern County Sheriff's deputies spent the whole morning in  the North Bakersfield Area, after a man fired a round after he was being served a warrant.

At about 7:30 a.m., authorities were serving a search warrant in the 6200 blk of Mignonette St.

During the execution of the warrant, authorities said 48-year-old Darren Aldridge ran into a home and fired a round from a guhn.

Aldridge then started posting to his Facebook account.

23ABC reviewed these posts for several hours and was first tipped to them, but will not post his social exclamations.

KCSO asked the public to remain a two mile radius from the 6200 blk of Mignonette St. due to an ongoing operation

Olive Knolls Christian School went on lockdown.

Early afternoon, Aldridge surrendered peacefully to authorities.

Authorities also said that a woman was detained.
