Michael Vance, 38, live-streamed his escape on Facebook after wounding two police officers and leaving in their patrol car.
He has been charged with two counts of murder, one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and possession of a firearm after conviction of a felony thus far.
Vance had an Oildale address in 1997 in connection with a Fresno County petty theft case, according to Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. He was never arrested and was 19 years old at the time.
He was recently released from the Lincoln County Jail in Oklahoma on accusations of child sexual assault.
