The Tehachapi Police Department is hosting a Prescription Drug Take-back Day to prevent prescription medications from hitting the streets or landing in the hands of minors.
Officials warn against the dangers of flushing old prescriptions down the toilet or throwing them in the garbage and said no names, questions or information will be required to turn in old medications on Oct. 28 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for their Drug Take-back event.
