Three children in kidnapping found in New Mexico, suspects arrested in Colorado

UPDATE (August 25 at 3:35 p.m.): The two suspects in this case have been arrested without incident in Pueblo, Colorado. They were arrested Thursday around 12:30 p.m. by officers working on a fugitive round-up The baby with them is OK.

 

The three children missing in connection with the woman whose body was found in Gorman earlier this month have been found, according to the LA County Sheriff’s Department.

The children were found at a Motel 6 on the outskirts of Albuquerque, New Mexico in the care of a Good Samaritan. The kids are now safe with authorities. Suspects Joshua Robertson and Brittany Humphrey dropped off the kids around 6 a.m. with a guest.

The suspects wanted in connection with the kidnapping are on the run and believed to be heading eastbound into other states.

Suspect Joshua Robertson has another infant minor in his care unrelated to the three children kidnapped, LASD reported.

The suspects fled California earlier this week and are believed to be driving the victim's green 1999 Ford Expedition.

The mother Kimberly Harvill's body was found lying in brush in a remote are north of California State Route 138 by a motorist on August 14.
