A truck hauling hay caught fire on Highway 58 on Friday morning leading to a lane closure.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a truck was hauling hay on the 58 just east of Highway 184 when the trailer caught fire. 

That fire extended about a quarter mile into a nearby field.

The CHP says fire crews were able to get the fire under control, but one lane of westbound traffic is being blocked to allow for cleanup.
