BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The California Highway Patrol has closed two northbound lanes on I-5 following a semi-truck fire.

The fire broke out just after 7 p.m. just south of Grapevine Road.

The CHP Fort Tejon division said a truck carrying pineapples caught on fire and the number 3 and number 4 lane will be closed for several hours as they work to clean up.
