Two people were arrested following a traffic stop at San Dimas Street and 30th Street in Central Bakersfield.
Police conducted the traffic stop around 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday.
During the search, officers found a loaded 9mm handgun, which was reported stolen from Napa, California.
Sergio Arredondo, 27, and Richard Perez, 25, were arrested on numerous charges including firearms violations and participation in a criminal street gang.
